Oklahoma Kenpo Karate Association was started by Mr. Lee Lawrence in the mid 70's in Claremore, Oklahoma. As of 1 July 2009, due to health issues, Mr. Lawrence retired and named Mr. David Fishinghawk President of the OKKA.

1st in 35+ and in 42+ hard traditional forms, took 1st in 35+ and in
42+ Sparring.
- 2003 World Organization of Martial Arts Athletes "Goodwill" World
Games; took gold in Korean forms, silver in Kenpo/Polynesian
forms, bronze in Japanese forms and a bronze in fighting. Cancun

- He is rated by the NBL as being in the top 5 in different divisions of
forms from the year 98 to 03.
- 2003 rated in the regionally Pacific Conference; #2 in hard
traditional forms. Nationally Western Pacific Conference #3 in
hard traditional forms.
- 2002 Native American Martial Arts Association competitor of the
year.
- 2002 Native American Martial Arts Association World Competition
took 1st in 35+Sparring, Kenpo/Polynesian forms,
Japanese/Okinawan Forms and also in 35+ hard traditional forms.
He also took second in Korean forms.
- 1999 National Black Belt League Super Grand World Games;
placed 6th in Senior Traditional Forms and 3rd in 18+ Traditional
forms; Niagara Falls Ontario Canada.
- 1998 National Black Belt League Super Grand World Games;
placed 5th and 6th in Senior and Korean Traditional forms;
Savannah, Georgia.
