American Black Belt System Karate Association:
Was started in 1985 as the Oklahoma Black Belt System Karate Association
by Black Belts Mr. David and his wife, Kelly Fishinghawk. Being discouraged
by larger organizations who charged outrages fees and forcing you to learn
their curriculum Mr. Fishinghawk formed the Association, which stresses no
style is superior to another and lets you, the instructor, keep your hard
earned money. In 2002 with instructors moving out of state the Association
was renamed the American Black Belt System Karate Association. The
Association provides support, materials and assistance with testing,
tournaments and special events.
Mr. Fishinghawk has had the pleasure to compete all over the world and to
train with some of the best martial artist in the world. Mr. Fishinghawk has
taught and trained adults and children of all ages, as well as law
enforcement, military and government officials.
